This package includes a Fact Sheet about Columbus, Pictures and Guidelines and Directions to make a book to document Columbus' expedition. Students will practice reading skills to find the info needed for their book and match it with the pictures. They will also practice their writing skills to summarize and rephrase the most important facts of Columbus' expedition. Cutting and pasting pictures will help them stay focused and engaged. This resource is suitable for ESL intermediate students aged 10 -13 and for social studies students in grade 4 to 6.
