This includes a presentation - either PPT or Smart notebook, plans for 2 lessons and checklists for the children. It is for children who are beginning to put sentences together. A picture of animals they might find in the garden are displayed first. Children can spell them (robin, rabbit ant, bee etc.). Then they describe them using given sentence openers. In a second lesson, they imagine one of these animals went for a walk in the woods. What might they see? Different animals are revealed one by one and the children describe them. They use given time words to link the sentences together. Everything is fully editable. Feedback and suggestions welcomed.
