Here is a lesson I put together to allow pupils to discover what best value for money means.
This can be done completely without a calculator for more of a challenge.
I allowed a calculator to be used because it was for a 30 minute lesson observation.
It can involve quite a bit of decimals, although if prices are changed to pence, pupils may find it more accessible.
