This is the Converting Fractions and Percentages edition and involves questions that require children to mentally convert between and compare percentage and fraction equivalents of  1/5 , 2/5 , 3/5 4/5 and those fractions with a denominator of a multiple of 10 or 25

You can play with just the cards you need from each section or play with all of the cards to ensure retention of the topic.

Goosey, Goosey Gander is a maths game with a twist.
Everyone who has ever tried to pass a goose knows exactly how cantankerous they can be! And this card game encapsulates that evil energy!
Children compete to pick cards and answer maths questions correctly. If correct, they get to keep the card. The aim is to keep hold of the most cards when the timer ends.
But there are also sabotage cards in the deck!
One of them being the ‘Goose With The Evil Laugh!’
When the goose is selected, you must put all your cards back!
Your children may get another go, they may have to return one card or get a friend to return a card - this game is part skill and part luck! Either way, they will be hooked!

Need to differentiate?

• Make it easier - remove questions that your group is not ready for.

• Make it harder - request that children give the simplest form of the fraction.
