This Corpse Bride Movie Guide | Questions | Worksheet | Google Formats (PG - 2005) challenges students to analyze this whimsical Tim Burton masterpiece. Ask students to put themselves in the shoes of Victor, Victoria and Emily and think critically about their relationships and decisions. Compare and contrast how the society in the movie views dating and marriage, with how modern society does. Write persuasive essays to defend Emily as the protagonist of the film, and evaluate Lord Barkis as the dog, in Aesop’s fable, The Dog in the Manger.

This resource consists of 10 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
