Designed to be used at KS3 students take on the role of a British army general and answer a series of problem solving questions in character. The role play allows students to learn about the Zulu wars in an interactive, competitive game simulation that includes source analysis, followed by an activity where sources are interrogated to coordinate a planned attack to see what they have learned about Zulu battle tactics e.g The horns of the Buffalo.
