Counting to 20 at the Grand Prix

A simple interactive maths game, designed in Powerpoint to support number recognition and cardinality to 20. Ideal for modelling counting skills on the interactive whiteboard as part of whole class teaching, using a ten frame for number up to 20. Links well with WhiteRose Maths planning for Building 9 and 10 and 20 and Beyond. Children count the number of racing cars at the Grand Prix presented in the ten-frames. Amounts from 1 to 20 are displayed. Children identify and click on the matching number card to show how many cars are displayed in the ten-frame. Easily editable to suit your needs.

This Powerpoint also includes car racing ten-frames templates (cards from 1 to 10) that can be printed off and laminated to support independent learning activities.
