A creative lesson on sustainability which encourages students to create a sustainable city using the resource to give them ideas. this was an individual task but could be completed as a group task. Numeracy is a big part of this as the budget aspect challenges students to be creative and thoughtful about how to make their city the most sustainable. Used with yr 9 as part of an urbanisation topic. but could be adapted for GCSE in the Urban Issues and Challenges section to consolidate their knowledge of sustainability.
