A set of creative literacy resources for KS2 produced by The Children’s Bookshow to accompany Noah’s Gold by Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

Aimed specifically at Year 5 and Year 6, but adaptable for other year groups, these activities can be used by teachers, children and families to encourage reading for pleasure and harness children’s creative writing skills.

Covering persuasive writing, newspaper reports and instructions, this resource offers a great hook for children to develop their writing skills using a creative approach.

The PDF also provides links to further information about Frank Cottrell-Boyce, with suggestions for further reading and additional ideas linked to the book for children to try at home or in class.

The Children’s Bookshow is a charity that inspires children with a love of reading through an annual programme of in-theatre and digital performances and in-school workshops with the very best authors and illustrators from around the world.
