This is a unit of work my students really loved. Can be used for ages 13+. This can last 2-3 lessons. This is teaching students how to write a tension -filled piece of work. The lesson looks at examples from the recent James Bond film, ‘No Time to Die’, ‘No Country for Old Men’ and 'Archer. Please view the clips before the lesson to make sure you deem them appropriate. I have also included a great starter on movie anagrams. The following is covered in the lessons:

  • Sensory Language
  • Turn off the lights
  • Keep it building
  • Give them a clue
  • The ‘ticking clock’
  • Heighten the stakes

Really useful, but the links towards the end aren't working. Can you tell me what they are?
