Cued spelling - Method and procedure

Cued spelling incorporates the methods and approaches of paired reading to help pupils gain the ability to spell confidently and accurately as well as maintaining a high level of motivation. Working on a brief but regular one-to-one basis, peer tutors guide the tutee using simple techniques, strategies and prompts to provide immediate feedback and support.
