CVC Assessment Sheets KS1

A useful phonics assessment resource at the end of the term or beginning of a new term or period of learning.

5 sets of assessment sheets based on CVC words.
Each set has a different middle sound - a,e,i,o and u.
There are 12 black and white pictures on each page.

There are 2 versions of each sheet:

1. Shows pictures and words - these can be used to see if children can sound out and blend each word.
2. The second sheet shows the pictures and children write the CVC sounds underneath each picture. Children who are working at initial sounds level can write the first sound.
