Hi all!
This is a ‘smaller resource’ which looks at explaining how to deal with negatives in equations.

It looks at rules when we divide, multiply, add and subtract negatives with positives or with negative themselves. It also look at understanding the size/value of negative numbers (who is smaller/bigger), with integers and non-integers.

There are many activities scattered through the lesson for the students. There are also explanations for WHY the rules work. For example explaining, why - 3 x - 3 = 9, but the rules are at the top in bold, which is what the students should primarily focus on.

I hope this helps, feel free to add and edit slides to make it appropriate for your classes!:)
