This standalone lesson has activities to aid learners practise writing a description for GCSE/IGCSE English Language composition in the CAIE exam board. It has a reflection at the end after the exam style questions that can be timed in class or issued as homework. Peer assessment is also available for students to learn from their peers. For the vocabulary dump, it would be best to pit groups against each other and give awards to the group that compiles the longest and effective list within the shortest time- as you wish.
