This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.
This lesson follows the Edexcel KS4 curriculum and looks at how we can reduce or stop desertification. Students will identify methods via a video before moving on to either a teacher led or carousel activity (depends how you want to deliver it). Students will look at methods such as the creation of fuel wood farms, improved technology, water spreading weirs, education and afforestation.
This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary, exam question and various student led activities.
