Design and Technology Scope and Sequence
A Unit plan outlining the design process, research, prototyping making and evaluating.
This can be applied to software, hardware, websites, craft, furniture, business marketing etc
A prototype of an actual product can be made or a system such as a diet plan.
All the student has do do is identify a need to be fulfilled and then design a way to address that need.
My students did this by making websites, designing whole school software, making wooden tables, glass tables, vases, solar phone chargers and a business shirt that had a magnetic strip instead of buttons.
