Discussion Toolkit

The toolkit guides you through a variety of activities you can use to structure and encourage discussion in the classroom. It focuses on discussion, rather than debate, although many of the activities will work equally well for both. The first two pages offer a summary of why talk is important; the following pages present a range of activities for use in any subject and with any age group.
