Here are 10 worksheets linked to feelings, ourselves and emotional literacy.
Each sheet has 4 scenarios for children to read. They then draw a picture to show how they would feel about each one.
There are example faces at the top of each page showing feeling and emotions. Children can select from these or draw their own.
The scenarios can be cut out and used as cards to discuss in group work or in pairs. Cards can also be sorted under different headings such as angry, sad, happy and excited.
The activity encourages children to use and enhance their vocabulary around feelings.
As an extension, children could make up their own scenarios. These can be compiled into a set of cards for discussion work.
This activity is also a handy resource for play therapists and for working with children with behaviour difficulties.
