This Dream Big: Engineering Our World (2017) Video Guide engages students to learn about the wonderful world of engineering. Discuss how much clean energy is enough and local/global clean energy production. Evaluate engineering solutions such as the ones used in the Great Wall and in the Shanghai Tower. Ask students to describe their use of bridges and how their life would change without them. Consider how mentors can affect futures. Finally, as a bonus activity, use the links to download the same bridge building software as seen in the film.

**CCSS Note: I’ve taken the liberty of aligning certain reading standards with the act of consuming content via the movie instead. Although students are not reading they are asked to perform the same cognitive functions on the content that they consumed from the movie.
**Distance Learning Tips:
- Distribute the Google Slides version to each student
- Use the screen sharing tool on your group call software to play the movie
- Pause the movie at each question to give students time to write/discuss
