We look at language techniques, how to avoid technique spotting, the importance of analytical verbs, and we create top cards to help us evaluate how different techniques can be used for different effects in non-fiction. Includes detailed student and teacher notes, differentiated and engaging activities and source materials that are useful for KS3 and preparing for Paper 2 Section A.
