Editing Stations - enabling children to independently edit their writing

This resource is a group of 8 sheets, each one focusing on one key editing skill, ranging from capital letters and full stops to spelling and commas. This is a whole lesson of work, where children work in partners to help each other edit a piece of writing. First they must read the writing and then depending on which station they are sat at, they focus on improving their writing with only one focus in mind. After about 6/7/8 minutes (depending on the length of writing and the age of the class) they move on to the next station. These sheets can be edited to change the specific grammar focus for different year groups.
