Edward Tulane - story map and own story planning

I created this for my Year 3 class so they could write their own stories of a toy that goes on a journey.
It includes a story map of the whole book (quite proud of that!) and couple of slides for role on the wall for their own toy. I also then did differentiated story map templates for their own versions.

This may work well in a Year 4 class as it could be a really long extended piece of story writing if you can do it over a week or 2. Sadly, I think mine are going to have to be a bit rushed so will have less depth to them.
