A set of three lessons following ‘En route! / On négocie un souk ’ Studio GCSE Higher French Module 5.4/5. Students are reminded of how to describe modes of transport and numbers at the start of the lessons then go on to be introduced to demonstrative adjectives and pronouns as well as revising si clauses seen earlier in the module. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain and practice the grammar, a differentiated translation, vocab and picture match up, photo description and a video discussion task. A blockbusters game is also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with a role play card task with student friendly criteria and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
