Engineering Non-Exam Assessment AfL sheet

This assessment for learning word document is for use by teacher and students when working through the non-examination assessment unit for the Engineering GCSE with AQA. The exam board’s assessment descriptors have been adapted into a student friendly form to allow full engagement. The teacher can carry out progressive assessments and provide interim feedback and targets for improvement as the students work through the NEA assignment. Students can respond with improvements ready to be reassessed. The Red-Amber-Green column can be used to generate a best fit score for each section. This document can possibly be submitted along with work samples and the AQA documentation for moderation by the exam board. In my experience, moderators have found it useful to see how the marks have been generated.
