English transition lesson for new Year 7 students that explores autobiographies and a specific extract from the autobiographer of footballer and pundit Ian Wright. We explore the key elements of an autobiography and evaluate how Wright uses these in an extract from his book.
This lesson explores autobiographies and what an autobiography is, as part of a unit on the self and writing first person narratives. Ideal for new KS3 students starting at secondary school and can be used to build up to other units on writing and reading.
