This is like Expressions 1 but tougher - involves simplifying with brackets etc. Again I have put two versions: one with my face and one with smileys. A bid to make simplifying expressions more memorable.

Excellent task and particularly love the what's the question section - great point of discussion and allows students to delve deeper into their own understanding - thumbs up as usual for these fantastic resources!

Excellent resource - thank you. I thought maybe having "expression" for the unsimplified column may lead to a misconception that the word "expression" means something unsimplified, so I changed the headings to "Original expression" and "Simplified expression" when I used it.
