WAGOLL (What A Good One Looks Like) Sheet – same as a prompt sheet, I have started given pupils a WAGOLL sheet with each homework to show them “What a good one looks like”. This way the know my expectation for homework.

1. 7 worded problems. You are probably thinking why so little? Well, because my pupils find worded problems really difficult so I am trying to get quality homework rather than quantity homework. I do see a huge difference in the quality I am receiving and I am happy with that. Based on new style questions from the Pearson Edexcel exams.
2. WAGOLL Sheet – same as a prompt sheet, I have started given pupils a WAGOLL sheet with each homework to show them “What a good one looks like”. This way the know my expectation for homework.
3. 7 solutions provided.
Printing Tip: This resource has been designed to print on A4. If you wish to print select ‘shrink’ or ‘print to fit page’ (or fit to page option on your print settings) in order for it to print correctly on A4.

Idea behind task;
To develop pupil’s skills at answering worded problems/functional skills. To ensure pupils try the worded problem questions in the exam and don’t just leave them blank. To encourage pupils to use the WAGOLL sheet to help them access questions they are not sure on. To improve the quality of homework being handed in.
