Fighting in the trenches (WWI)

This lesson does NOT require the use of any accompanying textbooks. All of the resources needed are included.

The lesson encourages the students to investigate different aspects of fighting in the trenches with activities including making directed notes from a video on shell shock and source analysis (which could be done using a timer and sharing the sources in groups before moving them round).

The lesson also includes differentiation by colour (red=least challenging up to green=most challenging) and a table to fill out.
