Four easy to use proof-reading for tenses tasks

An easy to use set of Upper Key Stage 2 resources, aimed at providing valuable proof-reading practice. These four tasks focus on the consistent use of tenses and pupils simply need to read through each one and amend them in order to keep them consistently in present or past tense (there are two activities for each).
This makes a handy warm up or extension exercise and amendments can either be made directly on the sheet for a quicker activity, or the passages may be amended and copied out into exercise books. This activity can also work well as a fun, timed competition… who can make the most changes in two minutes, for example.
Each passage is written so that an additional activity could be to continue the piece of writing, or to add a final paragraph.
