This unit of work comprises six lessons and resources including Activ Inspire flipcharts. It teaches students:
*To know the names of shops in French
*To use positional language to describe a town.
*To know the French names of typical places in towns.
*To ask for directions in French.
*To write questions and statements asking for and giving directions.
*To be able to understand directions in French.
Although this is aimed at Year 6, my students had limited prior knowledge of French, so this could be aimed at younger or older pupils.
All French is translated, so non French speaking teachers can teach this unit confidently.
