This assembly is all about the importance of friendships and ensuring no one feels isolated or lonely.
It looks at what a ‘friend’ is, where do friendships start and how do we maintain them. The assembly also asks the students to identify the different levels of friendship they have and talks through the benefits of what friends and friendships can offer.
It finishes with a simple message which you can implement in your tutor group/ year group or whole school ‘once a day talk to someone new’
