Gaeilge: Éadaí- Is Fearr Liom

This resource contains phrases about which preferences for items of clothing and footwear. It focuses on the use of the phrase, “Is fearr liom…” and on clothes. It can be used in a few ways. It can be used as a classroom display to help children with their writing. It can be used as a matching activity where children are given a sentence and have to find the matching items or vice versa. This can be done as a whole class where multiples of the clothing and footwear are printed out and the whole class look for their items at the same time. It can be done as groups where one person from each group goes at a time. It can also be used on the white-board if magnetic tape is put onto the sentences and pictures and children come up to the board to match.
