GCSE Maths Coaching Slides - Geometry

Melman the triangular Madagascar giraffe, Blondie’s classic Parallel Lines album and the Transformers movie are all analogies I use in this GCSE Maths – Geometry and Shape zip file - see video. It contains 10 animated slide packs covering every GCSE Maths – Geometry topic from for instance basic angle rules through to interior and external polygon angles, then 3-D volume and surface area and animations gradually revealing the four Transformations. Each pack has the same layout, namely Context and Summary including on-line quiz link; then Detailed methods like all the Constructions on one page, likewise the 9 circle rules; then around 10 worked solutions per pack (100 in the whole file) for both simple and “wordy” questions, followed by seven quick closing questions. With the animations I’ve set, you can control the speed at which you reveal for example the next working steps and final answer to a problem.
This file can be used by students, teachers, or tutors for lesson plan slideshows or as material for revision cards and is part of a set of eight common-format files covering all the GCSE Maths topics The whole set has around 70 slide packs,There are also two Excel interactive multichoice quiz files with 1000 Maths questions and 400 Maths for Science questions.
My approach after 100’s of hours of using and fine tuning these materials with pupils is to ensure professionalism and 100% syllabus compatibility yet build into the Maths some unusual material such as sport, pop music and popular films
