This interactive teaching and assessment resource covers the following part of the new GCSE specification:
Planes of movement and axes of rotation when performing sporting actions.
The power point includes differentiated learning outcomes to stretch and challenge all students, key content on how the planes divide the body, which planes are associated with what axes of rotation and application to movement patterns for each. At the end of the power point are a few questions for students to apply their understanding. The student worksheet could be used either as homework or as a independent task during the lesson.
