Blank cards and the card with answers/descriptions on are supplied. Can be used as a whole lesson or as a revision lesson/activity.
Lesson to go with doesn’t cover the environmental properties but works well as a whole lesson.
Print page 1 as their starter activity. Then I got the students to cut up their own cards and match the keyword (on the wordsearch) to the decription and the picture on the cards. The pictures are really effective in helping them remember which property means what. Following that there are some quizes you can get them to do - questioning each other etc.
Extension to include written descriptions of materials they have been studying linking with the material properties.
