GCSE READING - A LETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

This activity comprises of a gcse level text (TOPIC: OUT AND ABOUT / ENVIRONMENT) followed by 7 comprehension questions. I usually give the students 30mn to answer the questions in English. We then correct & discuss answers together. As a plenary I ask them to highlight 5 words from the text that they did not know/were unsure about at the start of the activity. The students have to write down the meaning of those words in English. I posted an activity like this one for every topic of the GCSE exam. My students really enjoyed it, hope it helps!
