This is the first lesson in the Paper 2b SoW. This lesson includes role play to remind students about how the fedual system worked and how it was essential for William the Conqueror to keep order in 1066. It incorporates the Church briefly, this role will be build on next lessons.

• A crown, 2 capes, 4 swords, 2 crosses, a Bible, tape or string to divide the classroom.
