GCSE Structure and Bonding Self-Assessment

"Confidence grid" for students to fill in at the beginning of revision to show how confident they feel about each topic area. Includes questions to help them determine whether or not they understand the topic areas on ionic bonding, covalent bonding, dot and cross diagrams, metallic bonding, giant metallic structure, simple molecular structure and giant covalent structure.

Could be used at the beginning of a lesson (or in an earlier lesson) to help the teacher decide how much time to spend revising each topic area, or to differentiate by allocating specific students to particular revision activities in the class according to prior knowledge.
