Geographical Enquiry / Investigation - KS3 / KS2
Fully adaptable documents with both higher and lower ability resources.

A geographical investigation into how nice your school is, following the GCSE steps of a geographical enquiry.

Includes pupil-friendly mark scheme (point-marks), teacher level descriptors for the data analysis and conclusions section, home learning tasks and a comprehensive work book that can be used across the teaching of this unit of work. Both higher and lower ability resources have been created and are provided in this download.

I find that this works best with my Year 7’s as it allows them to find out about their new school, as well as giving them the opportunity to plan and conduct a geographical enquiry which reflects what is required of them in KS4 and KS5 geography studies. This could also be used with KS2 pupils to give them an insight into secondary school geography and encourage independence in their work.

All documents are either Microsoft Word Documents or Microsoft PowerPoint to allow full access and adaptability to your own school.
