This project asks pupils to design gingerbread houses. It looks out converting between units, finding areas, surface areas, volumes, pythagoras, scale drawing, plans and elevations and more! Pupils can stick to creating a cuboid and triangular prism or be encouraged to make more wacky pyramids etc. The only constraint is that their design will fit in the set area.

Hi Emma, Hope all is well. Love this resource and actually made my own gbread house this year. Hope you don't mind but have reworked this for lower ability class. Basically working the other way. All the best, Kim xx
