2 lessons that can be used in a lower secondary Global Perspectives class, studying the topic of Globalisation.

Pack include material for 3-4 lessons:

Globalisation in Sport

• PPT slideshow giving background information on globalisation in sport, sporting celebrities and the involvement of transnational corporations.
• Task sheet with source based questions
• Infographic Task on a global sporting event

Globalisation and Gaming

• Tasksheet including information about the growth of gaming as a global phenomenon, including source based information and a speech writing task (this could easily be adapted to a debate/or report writing task).

I used these resources with my Year 8 GP class. There is a good variety of task and information that could be uses as is, or adapted to your needs.
