Hair styles in French and the verb Avoir

This ressource for a year 8/9 class teaches the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular of the verb ‘avoir’ as well as hairstyles (length, colour and style) in a fun way with reference to celebrities.
By the end of the lesson students should be able to describe different hairstyles. They can either describe the hairstyle of a celebrity or someone else in the class. If they describe someone else in the class, the students could write their descriptions on a piece of paper with the name of the student being described that the teacher can take in and put into a bag/hat. The students then have to guess who it is, when the teacher reads the descriptions out.

There is also a revision slide on eye colour if teachers want to use this for the next lesson or combine with the current lesson.
