This is designed as a second lesson on hard water. In pairs (1's and 2&'s) pupils research different questions on water softening. They then work together to complete exam questions based on their research. 1&';s teaching 2's how to answer some questions, and vice versa. Work can be collected or peer assessed.

Great resource. I copied the student tasks onto an A3 sheet (dividing it down the middle). Students were then required to fill in their side with the research material they found. This was then photocopied at the end of the lesson so all students had notes on both sections.
