This has been written for a year 3 assembly but can easily be adapted for other age groups.
The assembly follows the adventures of Big Skeleton, Little Skeleton and their dog Sherlock Bones. Big and Little just want to eat junk food all day so Sherlock tells them all about how to have a healthy diet.
Cast:
The cast is easily adaptable to suit a class of 25 or more children.

A bag of crisps
A “script” for the narrator
See through sandwich bags containing weights of sugars (x4)
A 45g bar of Dairy Milk
A bottle of banana milkshake
A box of Coco pops
A diary
A radio (doesn’t have to work)

Suggested: Food groups are Rockin’ Tonight (available through YouTube)
Funny Bones cartoon theme and end credits.
Duration:
The script should last about 15 to 20 minutes; this does not include music.
The script can be edited or amended to suit the needs of the children taking part in the assembly or to fit in with what the students have been covering in class.
