This is a resource pack about Henry Guermonprez (Ger-mon-pray), a famous naturalist that lived and worked in Bognor Regis. Between 1880-1920, Guermonprez collected thousands of samples of animals and plants around Bognor Regis and West Sussex, studying the local wild life to help us understand it better. His collections span across all areas of the natural world, from birds to insects, plants to fossils.
This pack contains:

3 x audio from the video - forest soundscape, music, and the complete forest soundscape and music audio.
1 x ‘Bug Building’ game.
3 x sequential lesson plans and 3 x accompanying powerpoints about Guermonprez:
Lesson 1: Classification (Science).
Lesson 2: Sketching Specimens (Art).
Lesson 3: Writing A Column (Literacy).
Whilst the lessons have been designed with KS2 in mind, (National Curriculum focuses based on Year 4), they can be adapted to suit the needs of other ages groups.
