History Extension Activities- KS3/4/5

A selection of activities for students to do throughout the year. Aimed at all abilities and styles of learners with a range of tasks from diary entries to an art piece. These have been designed so that students can work on them whenever, rather than having to complete them in one sitting.

I use this a lot when doing assessments to give students who finish early something to occupy themselves with but also in lessons so that if a task is completed quickly they can start on an extension piece.

These tasks are designed to encourage students to think about the application of their history topics but also to approach their learning in a different way than we do in a lot of lessons. I’ve had some very creative responses to these tasks and the students enjoy doing them!
