This is a resource about breeding fictitious creatures known as the "Horny Legged Beasts". The creatures are a little tounge in cheek but the work is challenging. Covers dihybrid crosses, chi squared, linked genes and co-dominance.
Horny-Legged-Beasts.pdf covers the basic dihybrid cross and allows students to set up a chi squared table.
Horny-Legged-Beasts-1.pdf covers This file looks at what looks like a standard dihybrid cross but turns out to be linked genes. This allows the students to set up a chi squared table and reject the dihybrid model. Also has a challenge question on co-dominant genes.
Horny-Legged-Beasts-Answers.doc file is what it says it is.
Resource to could be used in two parts or as an end of topic homework or test.

great resource, same the 2nd pdf won't open-it is apparently not a valid pdf.. would be great if this could be fixed
An awesome resource but I'm keen to look at the extension (Horny legged beasts.1) and it again doesn't seem to be working. Can you upload again? I can see it's an issue that has happened before as well. Thank you.
Finally a worked example that isn't peas or maize!

Unfortunately the extension worksheet into linkage (H-Legged-Beasts-1) does not work...
Looks great but can't open 1st worksheet, can you re upload. Thanks
