How do you feel? Collaborative class project.
An engaging and interactive digital resource designed to help students learn and express emotions through adjectives. It involves individual participation leading to a collaborative class project.
Objectives
- Understand and identify emotions.
- Learn and use adjectives to describe feelings.
- Foster creativity and self-expression.
- Enhance group collaboration and communication.
Activity overview
- Choose an adjective: each student selects an adjective (from the provided list) that describes a feeling (e.g. Happy, sad, excited, scared). The list of adjectives is EDITABLE so you can delete some adjectives, add some more, change all of them…
- Take a photo: students take a photo of themselves representing the chosen emotion.
- Create your slides:
- First page: the photo without the adjective.
- Second page: the photo with the correct adjective.
- Class collaboration: each student’s first page is shown to the class. Classmates guess the emotion. “I think … because …”, “I agree with you / I disagree because…”
- Reveal the correct adjective on the second page.
“How do you feel?” Is a fun activity that helps students learn about emotions and adjectives. By participating, each student will not only enhance their vocabulary but also develop a better understanding of their own and others’ feelings.
