This is a 80+ page resource bundle based on the Australian book The Little Wave by Pip Harry.
The Little Wave tells the story of Noah, Lottie and Jack, who discover much about themselves and the importance of true friendship when a Sydney school hosts a class visit from the country. While Noah is struggling with the behaviour of his best friend, Lottie is trying to deal with the loss of her mother and its impact on her family. Jack, meanwhile, is faced with significant obstacles of his own. The Little Wave is a beautiful verse novel that uncovers the true essence of friendship, courage and the value of new experiences.
This book was selected to be a mentor text to teach the Multi-Age NESA Unit (6): Perspective and Context. The resources are designed both to provoke deep thinking about the text, but also to be completely independent. The only prep you need to do is printing or uploading to google classroom or a similar platform.
This bundle of resources consists of:

This book would be suitable for a whole class read-aloud, or as a reading group text for Stage Two or Stage Three students.
I have many other literature-based resources in my store (most of them Australian) so feel free to check them out.
