A simple one-page writing assignment that asks students to explain what is meant by the political terms “right-wing” and “left-wing”. The assignment comes along with resource links and a task that can be adapted as homework, class activities or discussion prompts. Originally used with an IB Year 1 (Grade 11) class, it could be adapted easily for A-Level, AP or other younger grades. The file is in simple PDF format for ease with printing and uploading to a VLE.
